Financial Assistance

FUNDING FOR CANADIAN-OWNED BOOK PUBLISHERS
Employees of Canadian-owned or controlled book publishers may be eligible for partial funding by the Department of Canadian Heritage under the Canada Book Fund. This program is administered from the Association of Canadian Publishers and funding can cover tuition, travel, and accommodation costs incurred in attending the SFU Publishing Workshops. FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, AND STATE FUNDING
Participants are encouraged to contact their federal, provincial, or state governments to inquire about training assistance programs that may apply to the SFU Publishing Workshops. Past participants who qualified have received funding through the Department of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC), Washington State Career Training Programs, and several provincial government programs across Canada.

Any documentation required to support applications will be supplied by the SFU Publishing Workshops and can be acquired by contacting:
