Call for Activities: Burnaby Festival of Learning

Join us in engaging and inspiring our communities in celebration of Simon Fraser University’s 50th Anniversary and the wonderful diversity of the City of Burnaby.

Taking place May 1-7, 2016, the Burnaby Festival of Learning will showcase events intended to inform, engage and spark creative conversations between members of the Burnaby and Simon Fraser University communities, and beyond.

The capstone to SFU’s 50th Anniversary celebration, Festival events will be free, fun and open to all. Activities will be located across civic spaces and institutions in Burnaby, including libraries, museums, galleries, parks, community centres, and at the Simon Fraser University Burnaby campus.

We want you to be a part of it! The activities that we’re looking for include: performances, debates, book launches, readings, lectures, tours, discussions, displays and talks. Events must be free and appealing to a wide variety of audiences. See more information about applying and activity requirements here.
