Honey, Hives, and Poetry in the City
The Vancouver Public Library and SFU Centre for Dialogue are co-presenting an event for National Poetry Month in April.
“Honey, Hives, and Poetry in the City” investigates food and poetry as a means of cultural and social activism and community building.

The free, public event includes:
- Rachel Rose, Poet Laureate of Vancouver
- Collaborative reading by scientist Mark L. Winston (Bee Time: Lessons from the Hive) and poet Renée Sarojini Saklikar (children of air india).
- Readings from Elee Kraljii Gardiner and the Thursdays Writing Collective
- Presentation and honey tasting with Hives for Humanity
