Join us at Mini-TOC Vancouver, Oct 19-20

The Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing is proud to present (along with the Centre for Digital Media, QBend and O’Reilly Media) the first Mini-TOC Vancouver conference.

Mini-TOC’s are smaller, regional versions of O’Reilly’s big, annual Tools of Change for Publishing events (usually held in February in NYC). Previous mini-TOCs have been in Portland, Austin, and Chicago. This is the first time for one in Canada. The event will be held at the Centre for Digital Media’s brand new building, at 685 Great Northern Way in Vancouver.

Friday, October 19th is Workshop Day, featuring sessions on HTML5 Applied, Mobile Publishing using Open Source Tools, and a two part Secrets to Ebook Publishing Success.

Saturday, October 20th is Conference Day (plus rapid-fire Ignite sessions in the evening), featuring speakers from the Vancouver area, as well as speakers from the NYC TOC program. The day opens with a keynote from Exprima Media’s Corey Pressman, and end with a closing keynote from author/experience designer Pete Meyers.
